Conventional Grilles and Their Disadvantages

For security reasons, most Malaysians typically install conventional grilles, usually made from iron, at their doors and windows. While grilles are readily available, affordable, and effective at keeping unwanted things out, they also come with certain disadvantages.

One of them is “imprisoning” you. As much as conventional grilles are great at keeping things out, they can also lock you in completely. It’s a nightmare and an eventual hazard. Security meshes are also effective against keeping unwanted pests out, including mosquitoes. Security mesh windows come with an existing mesh panel that keeps those pesky bugs out. In contrast, most grilles require the homeowner to install an additional screen separately, costing extra time and funds.

Additionally, security meshes offer homeowners a view of the outside and, at the same time, offer privacy. Most meshes offer different finishes that can provide a clear view or privacy as preferred.
